Urban Decay – Gwen Stafani Pallete – Review

Hi Beauties! Urban Decay has been such an influence in the industry in the past 10 years. UD is the brand to be, that everyone wants to be like. I heard something crazy, such as every 10 seconds a Naked Pallete is being sold around the world!! LIKE OMG?! (Okay that was probably a little dramatic on the timing of it being sold! But it’s most likely true!lol) They are always bringing out new innovative products to engage clients with. I think the fact the brand does so well is because it’s fun and appealing to all ages. They are know for making a statement in the beauty industry with their daring names and bold shades and wildest color selection why wouldn’t you love Urban Decay?!

Urban-Decay-Gwen-StefaniI was so excited to receive this palette today! I ended up using my VIB Rouge discount as Sephora last month to get this wonderful beauty. I must say I feel as if Urban Decay has been busting out something every couple weeks. Every time I turn around there is a new product on the shelves and I’m in store pretty often every monthly. I am a huge Gwen Stefani fan so I couldn’t pass this one up!

This product is limited edition and is the first collaboration with a known celebrity that Urban Decay has partnered with. It was created and developed with Gwen Stefani herself and loaded with her personal 15 must-have shades! She had her hand even in the designing of the packaging, which was inspired by her love of black and white and graphic prints and gold antique accents. Her names were also inspired by her songs. Do you remember her song Magic’s in the Makeup?

With the creative partnership of UD and Stefani Eyeshadow Palette has become a huge success. Wende Zomnir- co-founder of UD- and her development team spent hours at Gwen’s house, working with closely on every single detail of this palette- personally chosen from Gwen herself. With the ultimate range of jewel tones and neutrals you have enough to create the most iconic Gwen Stefani looks that you will need. This palette is formulated with the UD pigment infusion system. What is that you ask? It gives every shade its velvety texture, high pigment payoff and staying power to stay all day.

The rave and excitement in this palette is truly there! I believe it can be very universal with all skintones the more I played with it. I personally would make sure if you purchase this palette, to use primer with the shadows. Such as the primer potion from Urban Decay $20.00(USD) any of them will do. I wore the shadows for over 4-6 hours without primer and they did crease a bit about after 4 hours and I had a little fall out. When I used it with primer it lasted about 8 hours plus my shadow stayed with less fallout by end of the day.
